My first romance book, Riding Lessons, has been released!! (Cover by Sharon Nelson, Pink Phoenix Publishing.)
All Joe’s
father wanted was a grandchild. All Joe wanted was to run his own research
facility. All Jennifer Rose wanted was to raise Mustangs. When Jennifer Rose
agreed to teach Joe how to ride a horse, she had no idea the lessons he would
teach her. Joe was resigned to getting the horseback riding lessons over with
so that he could pursue his real desire; getting out from under his father and
becoming the scientist he knew he could be.
But was
that really his only desire? What about this young, capable, beautiful woman
that seemed to know his very thoughts? She was unlike anyone he knew and he
found himself thinking about changing his dream to include her. But what about
her grandfather? He was just old fashioned enough to shoot him for even
thinking about his granddaughter.
And
Jennifer Rose? Could she ever be tamed? So who was going to get what they
wanted out of this deal, anyway? Could there be more than riding lessons taught
at Prescott Farms?

The first book in the series Chasing History was released on 5/10/11 as The Sword's Journey and on 7/23/11 it was re-released under Wizard of Time. (Cover by Donna Casey) Wizard of Time takes places in the future and sends the heroes way back in the past.
Josh, Digger and Meri were rudely ported out of their time and far into the future by the Wizard of Time. King Arthur’s sword, Excalibur, is missing from its timeline. Without the sword in its proper place in history, everything from that point forward could change. Josh and his new found friends must find a way to return the sword to Arthur that won’t upset the timeline. However, the Bard’s have other plans. They want to rule time. They would do anything to stop the return of the sword. Is it murder to eliminate a timeline so that person was never born?
Follow Josh and his friends back in time to Camelot. Meet the Lady of the Lake, the King’s nephew and Merlin. Rejoice as things go right and cry when a dear friend is erased from time. Did they do something wrong? Can it be fixed or was the sword's return the catalyst to the world’s demise?
Excerpt:
By now, the mist that had covered the surface was gone. Just as Josh was beginning to wonder if something happened to Meri he heard shouting from his left. He turned and saw Meri running along the shore, tears streaked her face.
“Josh, oh Josh, did you see that? Did you see?” She was screaming and crying as she ran towards him. “I did. You were amazing, Meri!” He grabbed her up and swung her around then, putting her on her feet again he gave her a big hug. He was telling her how well it went, how great she was, how amazing it was, and, after a few seconds it got through to him what she was saying.
He stopped talking, “what do you mean it wasn’t you?”
He dropped his hands from her waist, stunned.
“I mean, it wasn’t me. I never made it in the water.” Josh looked at her now and saw she was in the white dress but that it was perfectly dry. He reached out his hand and felt the material again just to be sure.
“I don’t understand.” He said slowly, his brain just not kicking in to what that meant that it wasn’t her. “What do you mean it wasn’t you?” he asked again but was beginning to comprehend the answer.
“It wasn’t me.” Meri took Josh by the shoulders and shook him slightly.
“It wasn’t you.” Josh said slowly.
“Oh my gosh it wasn’t you,” he said very, very quietly. Understanding was finally beginning to filter through into his brain.
“Then who …” he abruptly sat down.
Finally it dawned on him that the Lady in the Lake he saw was really the real Lady in the Lake. He never believed in ghosts, apparitions or anything of that kind of garbage. Now, right before his eyes, he had seen a real ghost or whatever she was. He was really and truly beginning to freak out.
